On my way to work this morning, a guy ran the stop sign at a fairly voracious speed and stopped about two feet from the driver’s side of my car as I swerved skillfully away in a split second. Shakily driving the rest of the way to work, I thought about how often we cheat death on a regular, probably daily basis. You drop your keys and the fumbling around makes you 2 minutes later to leave than you would have or you curse under your breath as the phone rings just as you are on your way out the door…but  perhaps these happenings keep you from unseen potential danger. I think we are held in the hands of the angels more often than we even bother to consider – or are grateful for.
